The Opportunity

You will be developing and expanding our Product Organizations’ ability to deliver care plans for our member and provider facing products. As an infrastructure engineer, you will help design, develop, deliver and support the platform upon which all One Medical software is built.  You’ll work with experts in our field who are highly committed to supporting and mentoring their teammates. You’ll contribute to our various codebases, working in Terraform, Ruby, and Python and the various microservice frameworks we support. You’ll help select and implement technologies which help create a sense of flow and psychological safety for your customer teams. You’ll help develop our long-term roadmap and work with team leadership to understand stakeholder needs and deliver useful solutions. You’ll collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines (mobile, ML, clinical quality, data science, security, and IT) to help them become champions for DevOps process and philosophy.

What you’ll work on

Building innovative infrastructure features and maintaining existing infrastructure products, support various product lines from the increasing product development projects.

For the first 6 Months:

  • Learn the One Medical infrastructure and seek to understand how it supports the core One Medical business lines
  • Integrate into the team and seek to deliver value as a contributor to our roadmap projects and the Infrastructure help desk
  • Participate in the development of the Infrastructure team’s roadmap and associated architecture
  • Become a champion of DevOps for the Product Organization and seek to bring other engineers along with you on our DevOps journey

What you’ll need:

  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services technology
  • 2+ years experience working with Docker and container orchestration systems such as Amazon Elastic Container Service or Elastic Kubernetes Service
  • 2+ years of experience with a cross-platform web application framework (e.g. Ruby on Rails, Python, Javascript) 
  • 2+ years of experience with infrastructure / configuration-as-code technologies such as Terraform, Chef and Dockerfiles

This is a full-time Remote role with core hours of 10-5 pm, pst.
