Tom is a personable and compassionate physician who is committed to cultivating strong relationships with his patients. His approach is collaborative, combining his medical knowledge and experience with his patients’ preferences and values to develop personalized plans for treating illness as well as maintaining health. Outside of medicine, he has a passion for music and in the past performed in singing groups, a medical school rock band, and amateur theater. After earning his MD from Weill Cornell Medical College, he completed his residency in primary care internal medicine at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and subsequently practiced for three years in a community based health center in Boston, treating a wide variety of both acute and chronic medical conditions. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
