About the program
Insomnia can have a big impact on many aspects of your life as well your long-term health — from productivity to mood to cardiovascular health. That’s why we created Rest Well, a group program designed to help you get the quality sleep you need to lead a happier, healthier, and more productive life.
What to expect
Led by One Medical providers, this introductory-level program consists of six virtual one hour-long sessions. Throughout the course of the program, you’ll learn more about the causes of sleep issues and how to make lifestyle and behavior changes that lead to better, more restful sleep.
Our interactive community-based approach combines education, skills training, and coaching to empower you to make sustainable, long-term changes and build a peer support network.
The topics covered include:**
- Sleep cycles and circadian rhythm
- Sleep hygiene
- Progressive muscle relaxation
- The impact of diet on sleep
- Understanding sleep aids
- How our thoughts and beliefs affect sleep
Upcoming dates and times:
- Thursdays, Oct 28th, Nov 4th, 11th, 18th, Dec 2nd, and 9th, from 4-5pm (please note we are skipping Nov 25th)
Where: For the time being, Rest Well is being conducted online, via a HIPAA-compliant version of the video platform Zoom.
Each session is billed to your insurance as a virtual medical visit, and subject to payer policies and restrictions for telehealth. You may be responsible for your regular copay, coinsurance, or deductible owed depending on your insurance benefits. Please check your insurance policy or reach out to your insurance provider to better understand your costs.
