Amy Sun, MD
New York
Doctor of Medicine, a common medical school degree for physicians. MDs at One Medical typically specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics or pediatrics.
As an experienced expanded care medical provider, I am deeply committed to providing 1) patient-centered care, ensuring that patients feel empowered to make informed decisions regarding their healthcare; 2) accessible, high-quality primary care that encompasses a wide range of services; and 3) sensitive and compassionate care to marginalized communities. As a family medicine trained doctor, I enjoy caring for patients of all ages, from infants/children to older adults, and being to able provide comprehensive primary care in women’s health. Other areas of interest include sexual health, LGBTQ care including gender-affirming hormone therapy, and minor office procedures.
How I stay healthy and happy
I enjoy finding recipes for my husband to cook, reading coming-of-age memoirs and funny romance novels, watching TV shows that I don’t have to pay too much attention to, taking dance classes, and most of all, spending time with my baby boy who is growing up too fast.
