Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
My goal as a healthcare provider is to partner with my patients on their physical, mental, and spiritual health journeys. I seek to work closely with each patient, recognizing their unique circumstances, and provide compassionate support that's tailored to their needs. My time as a registered nurse (RN) at a community health clinic, which served underserved populations from many different cultures, illuminated the real-life barriers patients often face in their health journey. This experience reinforced my commitment to working with my patients to understand and address these challenges.
