About Charles
Charlie approaches primary care with a combination of head, heart and hands — blending strong, evidence-based medical knowledge and clinical exam skills with a careful, listening ear. He enjoys collaborating with patients on treatment plans for all of their health needs, from acute infectious diseases to chronic illnesses. Charlie is adept at performing many office procedures, such as mole removals and skin lesion treatments, and he completed additional training in primary care dermatology in 2014. He also enjoys his position as a clinical faculty instructor in UCSF’s Department of Family and Community Medicine, where he educates resident physicians in San Francisco General Hospital’s Family Medicine Clinic. Charlie earned his MD at UCSF and completed his residency in family medicine through the social medicine residency program at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in New York City and the family practice residency program at Central Maine Medical Center. Charlie is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, is board-certified in family medicine, and brings over 30 years of experience as a clinician and teacher to his practice at One Medical.
