Elizabeth Gannon, DO
Reston
Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed and board-certified physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. DOs emphasize a whole-person approach to treatment and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). DOs at One Medical typically practice in the field of family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or internal medicine, and may also integrate OMT.
About Elizabeth
Elizabeth, who goes by Beth, collaborates with her patients to help them make the most informed decisions about their healthcare while taking into account their individual challenges and needs. She strives to help patients find physical, emotional, and spiritual balance. While she enjoys all aspects of family medicine, she’s especially interested in sports medicine and musculoskeletal issues, including arthritis, sports injuries, and prevention.
To stay healthy and happy, Beth enjoys strength training, yoga, spending time outdoors with her family, reading, mindful meditation, and live music. She earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing her family medicine residency and a sports medicine fellowship at VCU-Fairfax Family Practice. She’s board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
