Harley Berning is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, and Military Medicine. As a Nurse Practitioner, she works with populations across all lifespans to optimize their well-being by implementing preventative measures, providing in-depth patient education, and encouraging active patient participation and engagement. Before working as a civilian NP, she was an Army Nurse Practitioner in the United States Army Nurse Corps. Mrs. Berning is completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice -Family Nurse Practitioner at Baylor University. She is passionate about pursuing antimicrobial stewardship, developing and implementing practice guidelines, and evidence-based practice. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners organization.
