Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed and board-certified physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. DOs emphasize a whole-person approach to treatment and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). DOs at One Medical typically practice in the field of family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or internal medicine, and may also integrate OMT.
I’m passionate about preventative medicine and wellness — with a particular interest in how nutrition can be used to optimize health at all ages. After medical school, I pursued a clinical research fellowship at Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston.
How I stay healthy and happy
I love playing tennis, going to comedy shows, and trying out new recipes. I’m also an ice cream connoisseur (self-proclaimed) and at this point have probably sampled every ice cream spot in New England with the help of my husband, son, and our labradoodle, Kemba.
