Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I believe that building a strong patient-provider relationship is key to achieving goals and managing health problems. I strive to be a supportive provider using evidence-based medicine and tailoring it to a patient's individual needs. I care for all ages, sexes, and genders, with particular interests in preventative health, adolescent health, LGBTQ+ health, and contraceptive management. I have additional training in ABA (applied behavior analysis) and experience working with people who have autism spectrum disorder.
How I stay healthy and happy
I stay active by doing hula (Hawaiian dancing), biking, and hiking. I love traveling to try new cuisines and spending time with family/friends.
