Kate Middleton, DO
Boston
Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed and board-certified physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. DOs emphasize a whole-person approach to treatment and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). DOs at One Medical typically practice in the field of family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or internal medicine, and may also integrate OMT.
I approach medicine as I would for any close family member of my own: compassionate active listening, respectful shared decision making, and through the utilization of the most up-to-date evidence based recommendations available. I do particularly well with younger patients and children, including them in their medical care with age-appropriate terminology and autonomy. I hope to work toward eliminating some of the barriers to healthcare, and plan to lead my patients to a more healthy version of themselves through kind and compassionate care.
How I stay healthy and happy
Staying active is the most important part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle! I love to go on runs with my partner on the weekends or to the gym in the mornings before work. I also think part of a healthy life is maintaining loving relationships with good people and spending time with likeminded individuals. We try to get together with close friends and family whenever possible. Good quality sleep, healthy food, and mindfulness throughout our days helps keep us at our best.
