Katie is a very approachable provider who values communication and evidence-based care. She encourages her patients to be open about their health concerns then works with them to determine the best personalized strategy to fit their medical needs as well as their lifestyle.
Katie's favorite ways to stay healthy physically and mentally are running, spin cycling, snorkeling, meditating, and volunteering to support her community. Previously an active duty U.S. Air Force officer, she's currently in a U.S. Air Force Reserve unit. She and her U.S. Army officer spouse enjoy supporting local veterans and younger active duty members. Katie earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from Loma Linda University as well as a master's degree in public health from East Carolina University. She's board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
