San Francisco
Physician Assistant, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who undergo extensive practical training and board certification, and are licensed to practice medicine including the full range of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
I like to explain to patients their injuries, illness, or disease process instead of just telling them a medical term and leaving it at that. I feel this gives the patient a better understanding of their condition or situation and empowers them to make more educated choices regarding their overall health. I like to discuss several preventive or treatment options with my patients along with evidence-based approaches so we can make an informed decision surrounding their healthcare together. There are so many aspects that go into the term "health" and I enjoy looking at the bigger, more collective picture that makes my patients who they are. I enjoy working alongside patients through challenges and milestones in their life.
