Laura Sturgill, MD, MEd
Boston
Doctor of Medicine, a common medical school degree for physicians. MDs at One Medical typically specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics or pediatrics.
I believe that the doctor patient relationship is a partnership in which we work together to meet your goals for health and wellness. As a family doctor, I love learning about patients lives, whether that is getting to know multiple family members, learning about how you spend your days, or simply listening to your hopes and dreams. I enjoy helping patients with lifestyle changes that can help them feel happier and healthier, including nutrition, exercise, sleep, and social situations. Special interests include: lifestyle medicine, reproductive healthcare, LGBTQ+ care, adolescent medicine, infants and children, migraine, and nutrition.
How I stay healthy and happy
I love being outdoors and active, especially with my dog Bonnie. I am a big fan of seasonal local food and feel nourished both by cooking and eating great locally raised food, as well as visiting farms and working in my garden. Friends and family are very important to me. I am a bit obsessed with 26+2 original hot yoga. I read a lot and love libraries and local bookstores.
