Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I love connecting with patients and working together to help folks be their healthiest, most vibrant selves. I'm passionate about promoting wellness through lifestyle factors and addressing physical, mental, and psycho-spiritual aspects of health. I also have training in functional medicine and a great interest in evidence-based integrative approaches to health. To me, primary care is about listening to patients' concerns and goals and using evidence-based practice to support them in achieving optimal wellness. As a PCP, I work with patients to manage urgent concerns, chronic conditions, and preventive care, and also connect patients to specialists as needed.
