Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I became a family nurse practitioner to deliver quality healthcare to all ages, from infancy to the elderly. I believe implementing preventative healthcare in my patients’ care helps them lead healthy lives. I have two years of experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center and feel comfortable providing healthcare in diverse communities. Taking care of my patients includes not only knowing their health history but also having knowledge of their social, economic, and cultural factors. I strive to see my patients holistically and provide individualized care to help patients reach their goals.
How I stay healthy and happy
I enjoy jogging outside, hot yoga, and trying new healthy recipes.
