Physician Assistant, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who undergo extensive practical training and board certification, and are licensed to practice medicine including the full range of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
I share One Medical's patient-centered approach to health care and view myself as an advocate for my patients, always striving to listen to their needs, educate them about preventive care and motivate them toward improvements in their health and overall quality of life. I take a more conservative, evidence-based approach to medicine and am especially interested in women's health issues. After completing my undergraduate studies at James Madison University, I went on to complete my physician assistant training and earned my master's of science from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. I've honed my skills as a physician assistant in the general surgery and emergency medicine departments of several hospitals, most recently working as a staff associate at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. I am certified through the NCCPA and see patients 18+.
