Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I went into primary care because I believe in establishing trust to build lasting relationships. My goal is to empower patients to live their happiest and healthiest lives through preventative healthcare that prioritizes mental health as an integral part of an overall wellness plan. Every patient is an individual, and I’m passionate about creating an inclusive environment for ALL patients. Whether it’s travel medicine or helping patients manage chronic health conditions, I like to tailor treatment plans in a way that addresses each patient’s specific health goals and concerns.
How I stay healthy and happy
I like to travel, hike, try new DC restaurants, and spend time with my husband and puppy, Finn.
