Molly Wright, MD
New York
Doctor of Medicine, a common medical school degree for physicians. MDs at One Medical typically specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics or pediatrics.
I enjoy seeing patients of all ages, especially multiple generations in the same family. I think that health care should be a collaboration between the provider and the patient. There needs to be trust, good communication, and sharing of information to assist in healthy lifestyle choices. Patients need to be met where they are at and goals must be tailored individually. Compassion and good listening skills are key to good outcomes.
How I stay healthy and happy
Although not a vegetarian, I grew up eating a mostly plant-based diet and continue to do so. I have always been active, playing sports as a kid, rowing in college, running as an adult. Currently, I enjoy a combination of yoga, pilates, and HIIT.
I love spending time with my family, cooking and sharing a meal, playing cards and board games. My parents are alive and vibrant in their 80s. They are an inspiration for healthy living. I try to lead by example for my two children.
