Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I strive to create a safe, warm environment that allows patients to share their concerns for me to approach with compassion and attention. I collaborate with patients and other providers to develop sustainable treatment plans that help individuals tend to all aspects of health, including physical, mental, emotional, and energetic health. With an integrative and functional medicine focus, I’m especially interested in preventive medicine including nutrition, movement as medicine, and stress management, as well as women's health and musculoskeletal injuries.
How I stay healthy and happy
Exploring and hiking the Fells with my husband, 2 young children, and rescue dog; a regular yoga practice; HIIT and weight training; cultivating my new passion of creating nutrient-dense and veggie-packed baked goods; and drinking a gallon of water a day.
