Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed and board-certified physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. DOs emphasize a whole-person approach to treatment and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). DOs at One Medical typically practice in the field of family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or internal medicine, and may also integrate OMT.
Education: BA Psychology, BS Biology, MS Biology with minor in curriculum and instruction; DO from Western University of Health Science;
Having been in medicine for almost 30 years, I have seen dramatic changes in diagnostic and technology capabilities in medicine. As those things have changed, the core underlying principals of patient care have remained the same for me: treat every patient as the unique individual that they are, and meet them where they are in their health journey. I see my job as helping each patient, through an integrated, whole body approach, not only meet their health goals on that journey, but to optimize health for their lifetime.
