Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I believe that establishing a strong patient-provider relationship is the first step in helping patients reach their personal health goals, and can mitigate some of the stress or anxiety often associated with healthcare visits. Healthcare is not "one size fits all", so I use shared decision-making to develop individualized care plans that take patients' preferences into account. I focus on comprehensive, holistic, and preventative care, and enjoy empowering patients to take control of their health.
How I stay healthy and happy
I love cooking and find it to be one of the best stress relievers! I also enjoy hiking, camping, running, dancing, and channeling my artistic side via photography and pottery.
