Stella Kinyota has over 25 years of experience and certification in clinical care, digital healthcare, and public health research. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and has a Medical Degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, where she worked in the emergency room, and completed her Family Medicine residency at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Georgia. She has a passion for increasing access to healthcare, especially through emerging technologies, having worked in a virtual care setting for over four years while licensed in all 50 U.S. states plus D.C. Dr. Kinyota also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland and worked as a Research Fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia. She brings to the team a wealth of local and international experience, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills. She is particularly keen on chronic care management and preventive medicine, as well as understanding and improving health systems.
