Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
When it comes to patient care, I like to use a partnership-type approach. I want my patients to feel comfortable in communicating their concerns, expectations and needs with me as their provider. To provide optimal care, it is important to have healthy communication between providers and patients. I like to use a holistic and personalized approach, focusing on positive lifestyle choices, health promotion, and preventive care measures. Some interests I have include LGBTQ care including HIV prevention and STI management, mental health, and hypertension.

How I stay healthy and happy
I like to start my morning off in the gym, lifting weights and doing cardio. I have an English lab pup who enjoys nature and going on hiking trails with me. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, being outside when the weather is nice, and listening to live music.
