MFA SMS Short Code Terms
Last Updated: September 21, 2024
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an account login process that requires users to enter a password and an additional piece of information to verify their identity. One Medical requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) because it adds an extra layer of security to a member's account and helps prevent unauthorized access if the password has been compromised. Members will be prompted to enter an authentication code via text message in order to login to their One Medical Account.
When you use our Services, you agree to receive automated SMS messages from 1Life Healthcare, Inc. (“One Medical”) in connection with the multi-factor authentication service. If you use Amazon credentials to log into your One Medical Account, you also agree to receive automated SMS security notifications from Amazon.com Services LLC and/or its affiliates (“Amazon”).
If you cannot receive an SMS message or if you have questions about MFA, please email us at mfasupport@onemedical.com. If you use Amazon credentials to log into your One Medical Account, please contact Amazon Health Customer Care if you cannot or do not want to receive SMS security notifications or if you have questions about MFA.
Neither One Medical, nor Amazon, nor carriers are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy: https://www.onemedical.com/privacy/.
